Congratulations Singapore on its success in winning the bid for hosting the youth Olympics 2010!

City hall on the 21 of February was chunked with a mass of red, a symbolism of the solidarity of its patriotic citizens in support for its bold attempt. Among the crowd were heavyweights, Prime Minister, Mr Lee Hsieng Loong, Minister of the community youth and sports, Mr Teo Ser Luck, holding witness to a mandatory decision. All eyes were upon the large screen, waiting for the results derived from a voting poll, granted to a tally of 97 council officials. The hosting city of the inaugural youth Olympics was to be announced in a few moments time. Apprehension hung around the air, the intensity of pressing hope was a palpable.

The final results were written all over the ministers’ face, as the crowd leaped up in sheer joy. The achievement was a milestone and Singapore has come a long way in fulfilling the criteria for its big win. From being a possible candidate, to being one of the pinnacles of the lot, the fairytale was weaved into reality when it was announced that Singapore had entered the final fight for success.

Congratulatory remarks reined the multimedia as companies made their rush to whip out their felicitations.

The coveted prize was a close win as Mosco managed 43 votes against Sinagapores’ 53 votes, a few credits shy of victory. Nevertheless, Singapore’s efforts definitely matched to its reward. The hosting would boost country awareness and revenue, as well as further enunciate Singapore’s attempt in becoming a lively and vibrant city, dominant with youth activities.

Further analysis on Singapore’s win triumph would be released within a few days time. Therefore, allow me to have an overview of the council’s opinion before I express my personal conjecture again……

Today

mood: thoughtful thoughtful

This is the beginning

Of a new day

I have been given this day

To use as I will

I can waste it

Or grow in its light

And be of service to others.

But what I do

With this day is important

Because I have exchanged

A day of my life for it

When tomorrow comes,

Today will be gone forever.

I hope I will not regret

The price I paid for it.

I don't seem to have had any constructive things done on this livejournal. Everyone is starting with something{substantial}, and what have i done?A whole mouthful of crap but an invisble air of black and white. Out of ironic font; nothing done. My livejournal posts are full of complications.Lack of ideas, robbed of inspiration, inappropriate mood, unsalvaging{wonder if this word suits in here?} words. Got to go!

Common test wiil be commencing on Monday. I can feel the air of apprehension hovering around in the midst of most hildans.scholar-hopefuls have their heads stuck to the thick books. Nerdies, not my cup of tea. My idea of a perfect girl is simple yet wise, a total sponge in fun. However, that's just naive thinking because it is understood that the complicated world requires to be schemy at times. Being innocent and simple will only lead to being hurt youself. It's difficult to survive in this world: to survive the simple,un-hypocratical way.
